About ISE-DA
ISE-DA is an art advisory committed to expanding the visibility and cultural stewardship of Black contemporary art. We create experiences and content that bridge collectors, institutions, and artists across the African diaspora.
Position Summary
We’re looking for a creative and visually fluent intern to support ISE-DA’s digital communications and content strategy. This role is ideal for someone passionate about storytelling, visual culture, and platform-specific content creation. You will help shape the way our work is presented online and play a key role in deepening community engagement through thoughtful, mission-aligned content.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, schedule, and publish engaging social media content across platforms (primarily Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn)
Support visual asset curation, including editing photos and short videos for digital use
Help maintain a content calendar and ensure alignment with ongoing programs and events
Monitor analytics and performance data to inform future content strategy
Assist in drafting newsletters and occasional blog content
Collaborate on content ideas that spotlight artists, collectors, and ISE-DA’s initiatives
Ideal Candidate
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in communications, marketing, media studies, art history, or a related field
A strong writer with excellent communication skills and a sharp visual eye
Proficient in Instagram, Canva, Later, and/or Adobe Creative Suite (or eager to learn)
Passionate about the intersection of art, culture, identity, and equity
Able to work independently while collaborating closely with the ISE-DA team
