About us

ISE-DA is an art advisory and media platform focused on supporting international Black contemporary art. With the principles of Cultivation, Education, and Reimagination, ISE-DA prioritizes cultural stewardship - the practice of taking responsibility for and preserving the value of cultural works. Through this, we aim to increase cultural knowledge and access, community build through art collecting and programming, and ensure the endurance of Blakc cultural production. Our end goal? A connected community interested, invested in, and informed about art across the Diaspora.

Cultivation

Through our advisory services, ISE-DA aims to cultivate a pioneering generation of collectors invested in the social and financial growth of cultural hubs in Black communities. Our outreach includes targeting communities typically overlooked by the art industry but are eager to build collections and promote cultural stewardship.

Education

Our advisory, events, and annual projects provide resources to learn about art collecting, the art market, and the cultural contexts of visual art works.

Reimagination

A core aspect of ISE-DA is being able to reimagine the art ecosystem and art engagement. This includes experimenting with various exhibition formats, promoting collective exhibitions, and increasing the accessibility of visual culture.
